About Shimla

Shimla was the summer capital of British India and still carries that character in its buildings, its Mall Road and its wide, open Ridge. It is one of the easiest hill stations to reach from Chandigarh, which makes it a good short break or a gentle start to a longer Himachal trip.

The Kalka-Shimla railway, Kufri and the pine-lined roads towards Narkanda add easy detours without long drives.
