About Spiti Valley

Spiti is a cold desert valley high in the Himalaya, where whitewashed villages and centuries-old monasteries sit against bare mountain walls. Key Monastery, Kibber, Langza and Chandratal are the classic stops, and the drive itself is a big part of the experience.

Because of the altitude, a slow pace and a day or two of acclimatisation matter. Road access depends on the season, so we plan the route around your dates.
